This collection of thirty-nine works
is the result of a year-long study devoted entirely to
flowers. All of the pieces have been created within 2004,
and are photographs taken from the artist's backyard
in Cedar Falls and also more remote places such as Montana,
Hawaii, New Zealand, and Chile. Ginger was inspired by
the natural elegance and intricate detail of these flowers,
which she sees as suggestions of God's fingerprint on
the
universe. For this reason, she calls the collection "Reflections
on God's
Garden."
